To make the most of your recording session make sure all everyone is "concert ready." We will do multiple takes if needed however this will cut into recording time. If the material is not your own, royalties must be considered. After the tracks are recorded and mixed, they will be reviewed with you. Gecko Music Studio can take care of the musical royalties for you. You provide your cover artwork, and Gecko Music Studio will duplicate the quantity you need. The final product can contain a 4-pannel full color CD jacket and color printed CD.
What will it cost?
A single weekend session recording a 3 hour concert with one burned CD copy of the performance is typically $150. Recording a large 16 track CD of a choir including 8 recording dates, 200 copies of the full color printed CD, and mechanical royalties paid is approximately $1800. After asking a few questions about the project you intend I can send you a quote to fix your specific needs.
What you can expect to sell
Congregations love to support the ministry in their church, and this extends to purchasing a CD produced by the choir or worship team. One of the projects from Gecko Music Studio sold 200 copies for $20 each. $11 dollars from each CD went to church ministries.
Steven Deeds has been recording music since 1994, and been a musician even longer. Over a decade of recording experience gives Gecko the technical expertise to do things right the first time, and being a musician means that he understands the sound you want and knows what to do to get there.

Centered around a 24 bit PRO Tools digital audio workstation we have everything you need. From quality condenser microphones to capture every nuance of vocals and acoustic instruments to nearly every type of electronic sound synthesizable or sampled. We are prepared to work in the studio or at your location with solo musicians or vocalists, generating any background you may need, and we also can record up to 24 simultaneous audio tracks and unlimited playback tracks on site for full band recording.
